Man, how I wish I was a "GASTRONOMER"....is there such a job up for grabs? I would offer myself volunteerily!
Really interesting.Came across this term while reading an article on TheStar website. They did mentioned of a restaurant in Spain that overlooks a bay, called El Bulli. Apparently, it has been voted the World's Best Restaurant by chefs and patrons for 4 consecutive years! I wonder what it takes to be the World's Best Restaurant! It's simply exhilirating just talking about it... They receive up to 1 million bookings in a year..but since they are open from April to September only (if im not mistaken), they can only afford to accomodate 8000 of them. Someday, I'm gonna pay that place a visit.......someday.... July 01 Just when I thought I could finish early...Just when i thought i could finish my internship early, and avoid the need to pay for season pass..and pay at least RM10 on petrol daily.....and pay for tolls...and pay for lunch........
My engineer said "Heard you wanted to end your internship early because nothing to do?wait!! i got a lot of things that need you to do!"
Darn...back to square one...no difference in schedule.. Holiday short lifted...anyway..luckily got someone teman me till then..and also a whole lot of other ppl who are supposed to finished by then...
Good for those who have finished theirs.....Hope you're enjoying yourselves as much as you can! Don't forget the pictures from Italy, Germany, Europe, London, etc....we're waiting for it!
Meanwhile, I've got less than 2 weeks to complete my modeling using software....
For the next 2 weeks, I'm anticipating a lot of free treats..(I hope!!)

So let me clarify this from the beginning. I'm perfectly fine friends..=) Thank you for your concerns though. I'm only posting this because I just had a thought that crossed my mind and I think its worth passing the thought through....and perhaps you all can give a thought about it..(Gosh..so many words.."thought", 'through", "think", "though".....bla bla bla...)
 If you've been an avid reader of the Sunday Star, perhaps you might have stumbled upon a section called "Dear Thelma". Read the contents of it before? Notice any similiarities about the articles weekly (almost weekly)? YESS!! NO??? Okay, whatever it is...I'm going to tell you what it is basically about.
"I'm an executive in a company, and sometimes I'm required to stay back late to complete my work. Recently, I got to know a colleague and we started to talk. Somehow, after few encounters, we noticed that we shared many things in common, and soon...we were seeing each other. The problem is, he has a wife and 2 kids. He told me that he's not happy despite being married for 10 years.. but he's not willing to let go of his family. I love him so much, but how can I be sure he'll still be true to me? Please advice."

If you're facing a problem, whether its work-related, familly, stress-related.....and someone comes along, and happens to offer some "TEMPORARY" solution to your problems, you jump at it??? You my as well jump down the Twin Towers because anyhow, having the brains in your head....is NO different than having the brain in you A$$ ok! Did you ever think what are the consequences of doing so? Men first:-

My point here is, in life, we'll be subjected to these sort of "temporary" solutions whenever we face troubles. The TRUTH is...it is only TEMPORARY! We tend to look for things to resolve our issues, worries, and stress. And sometimes, we can't differentiate what is right and wrong. This can be gambling, having extra-marrital affair, bao yi lai, abuse, beating, sex, drugs,alcohol,etc. Notice that these are the wrong things that I'm listing here. Bringing out this issue actually stimulated some thoughts....People say that after talking things out, we'll feel better and thus, able to think more rationally. I find it true to a certain extend. People who gamble,'gamble' their worries away..(but never thought of the consequences of overdoing it), People who take drugs/alcohol let the chemistry work its harmful wonders on our body/mind/soul...People who resolve to sex allow lust to take over the mind....People who have extra-marrital affair see's the new person as a good listener, and able to calm him/her down.....People who resort to physical abuse think that they can 'beat' their stress away......
So, I was just thinking....maybe all we need is just someone to understand and straighten your messy mind up again? This someone should be a person whom you trust, and not betray your trust. Someone who's truthfully there to help you, not cause additional problems to you. Its just having someone to fall back on that gives your assurance..It maybe your dad, mum, brothers and sisters....your best friend....your boss....your relatives....your religion? sports?
In a nutshell, all I'm trying to say here is that...there's so many USEFUL ways to rid of stress/unhappiness..and there's no need to do stupid stuffs k?You just need to think a little further and smarter so that you don't land yourself in hot soup eventually....I know this post is quite controversial. with a lot of unanswered questions/doubts...but I'm sure I clarified some...
I'm glad that I have people to turn to when I'm down..and for that...I would really like to thank you... Now, I hope that you(whoever) find a right solution for yourself.
